ALMOST THERE
Vacation is so close, I can taste it.
Tomorrow is the last day of the quarter. Of the half-year. Of the fiscal year. I'll probably be there until 8 or 9 tomorrow night.
Friday, we get out at noon for the 4th of July weekend. And thus officially begins my much needed vacation.
Yup, so close I can taste it.
Tomorrow is going to be hard, especially since I should have been working late all week to take some of the pressure off of tomorrow. But last night, I wound up with last-minute tickets to the "James Taylor" concert, so how could I refuse? My mom and I went, and we took Baby Corrado to its first concert. He (she?) has at least two more concerts on deck while in utero - "Earth Wind & Fire with Chicago" in two weeks, and "Paul McCartney" in September.
I am going to bed now - it is only 8:30, but I have a long day ahead of me.
How long until my maternity leave???

MY NEW NEIGHBORS
Yesterday, my sister Eileen, her husband Kevin, and six-month old Kayleigh moved in with my parents. 5 houses down from our house!
I am excited, since it means I will now be able to see Kayleigh any time I want to.
Wednesday night is their 3rd year wedding anniversary (I can't believe their wedding was three years ago!!!) and they are going to the James Taylor concert. Originally I was supposed to babysit, but since my parents will be home I am just going to go down the street for a while and help out.
I'm excited that they are going to be around all summer.
