SHAME ON ME!

I should have posted before now - that was rude of me to say I was having an ultrasound yesterday and then let a whole day go by without posting the results. Here he/she is:


2nd ultrasound - all is well! 

Gorgeous, huh? The head is on the lower left, and you can see the little arm buds just above (he is upside-down!) Currently measuring 19mm and the heartrate is 184bpm. Perfect, perfect!

Me? I am still horribly sick. But after seeing this little person, it is easier to deal with for sure.

STILL SICK

I apologize for my lack of posting; I am still sick and barely feel up to doing anything except for staying in bed.

I've got another ultrasound this morning; I am praying that all goes well and that I'll have another beautiful picture to post later on today.

If all is still well, I am going to be announcing our pregnancy to friends and family today, which is exciting but also a little scary - we still have a few more weeks before the 2nd trimester begins, so it is risky to announce at this point for sure.

Then again, my sister announced she was pregnant at 3 weeks. Even riskier.

Time for me to get ready for work - sorry for the boring post, it's all I got in me right now!
